Students and staff should monitor their own health and stay home if they feel ill. Contact a healthcare provider for guidance if there are symptoms of illness. Students and staff may return to school when fever free for 24 hours without the use of fever reducing medication and symptoms are improving or upon clearance from their healthcare provider.

Steps to follow after positive COVID-19 diagnosis:

  • use theCDC calculatorto establish isolation dates and precaution measures following isolation;
  • report confirmed positive test, absence and anticipated return date to school so cases can be monitored; and
  • if assistance is needed determining return dates contact the Waukesha County Health Department at (262) 896-8430 or the district nurse at (262) 246-1973 x1186.
